DISCOVER YASUNI
Have you ever been curious about if you did somehow manage to dig a hole to the other side of the Earth, where would you be? Anyway, I have. After did some research, I found out a place called Yasuni National Park, it’s on the opposite of the earth from Singapore. In Yasuni natural reserve, there is more species of animals and plants than anywhere in the western hemisphere. Unfortunately it also has 800 million barrels of oil. How could we get the value of the oil without devaluing one of the most bio-diverse reserves in the world? The government hoped to generate funds of at least 50% of the profits that it would receive were it to utilize the oil reserves. In total it hoped that $3.6 billion would be raised over 12 years.
